I have enjoyed millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of cash at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a few years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a couple of days ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Bet 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 bet
Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Bet $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 wager
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
