I have enjoyed millions of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have bet on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at 21. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very exciting at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a few months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of $160
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
