I have gambled on countless of hands of blackjack. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of cash at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to beat the casino.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very thrilling sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a number of years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this method! And a couple of months ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the runs you witness playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager
Wager $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
