I have bet on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a number of months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you see playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $10 bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 wager
Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial $40 wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you departed at this point you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
