I have wagered on countless of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of money at twenty-one. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to beat the casino.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is founded on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years back with $750 after 60 mins using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 wager
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
