I have gambled on countless of rounds of blackjack. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have played online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or defeat the house, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is built on the idea that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy 21. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a few years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this method! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original $10 bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 bet
Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you departed at this point you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
