I have played countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or beat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a couple of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
