My Gambling Den Chemin de fer Type Casino Game
May 27th, 2026 by Kingston

I have wagered on millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of funds at blackjack. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this tactic or beat the house, nonetheless you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 60 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.

Wager $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet

Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of $10

Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager

Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20

Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet

Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40

Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager

Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 wager

Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet

If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
